3M™ CN-3190 nickel on copper plated polyester fabric tape is an anti-corrosion, metalized, polyester rip-stop fabric with electrically conductive pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive. 3M™ CN-3190 provides effective copper-nickel shielding with excellent flexibility and conformability as well as being lightweight and high strength, use in applications typically served by metal foil shielding tapes including EMI/RFI shielding, grounding and static charge draining. The conductive particles in the adhesive provides low contact resistance between the substrate and the backing to drain static charge. Easy to handle, the fabric backing minimizes the possibility of finger lacerations, works well in electrical and electronics industries for shielding rooms, components and machinery and equipment. Good resistance to heat, oxidation, solvents and oils, works well for wrapping cables and connectors to shield against conducting and picking up EMI noise. Reliable point-to-point electrical contact, use in EMI test laboratories for prototyping, design and troubleshooting.
