3M™ 9703 electrically conductive adhesive transfer tape is a pressure sensitive adhesive transfer tape with anisotropic electrical conductivity. The pressure sensitive adhesive matrix is filled with silver particles enabling interconnections through adhesive thickness (the Z-axis) between substrates. Electrically conductive adhesive transfer tapes works as a secondary grounding solution like screws and fasteners, the pressure sensitive adhesive tack properties and lack of any thermal curing make 3M™ 9703 easy to use in assembly operations. Designed for grounding, EMI shielding, attaching and bonding applications. Low outgassing acrylic adhesive for sensitive electronics, use to electrically connect and mechanically bond medium pitch flexible circuits with other flexible circuits, rigid printed circuit boards (PCB) or LCD screens. Low contact resistance and tape construction result in good EMI performance, works well to electrically connect and mechanically bond EMI/RFI shields to displays and gaskets to EMI/RFI cabinets and enclosures. Offers good adhesion to common printed circuit board substrates such as copper, gold, FR-4 epoxy, polyimide and polyester films. Also provides good adhesion to common EMI/RFI substrates such as aluminum, stainless steel and smooth gasket materials.
