3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape, Series: 966, 3.8 mil Thickness, Densified Kraft Paper Liner, Clear, Acrylic Adhesive, 450 deg F Maximum Operating, -40 deg F Minimum Operating

Designed for industrial applications subject to high temperature environments. Handles temperatures up to 450 deg F for short periods of time, use in the electronics industry for flexible circuit attachment as well as attaching heat generating components and heat sinks to printed circuit boards. Use for high temperature, low odor labeling of appliances, medical equipment, under hoods of vehicles and machinery and equipment in industrial applications. Highly used in the aerospace industry for a number of applications, low outgassing and fogging properties make 3M™ 966 ideal for control panel and window assembly applications. High peel and shear strength, works well to attach scuff strips and lightning protection antennas to the exterior of planes. Excellent chemical resistance makes high temperature adhesive transfer tape ideal for fuel line labeling in the aerospace and automobile industry. Meets NASA low outgassing specifications (ASTM E 595). Excellent bond to metals, glass and high surface energy plastics such as ABS and polycarbonate.
