Made from 1/2 in W, 300 series stainless steel. Used in manufacturing and maintenance where stringent, corrosion-resistant and low magnetic material is needed to check extremely tight tolerances or close spacing. Material is a good conductor and will withstand high temperatures, used in the aircraft, power/utility, food, automotive and marine industries. Thickness is clearly marked every 6 in metric and decimal. Precision Brand® feeler gage is used in manufacturing and maintenance operations wherever setting close spacing or checking extremely tight tolerances is required.
