3M™ 1350 electrical tape is a flame retardant polyester film tape with acrylic adhesive used for general electrical insulating applications requiring a durable tape with high dielectric strength, ideal where dimensional restrictions limit insulation build-up requiring a thin insulation tape. The acrylic adhesive resists solvents without thermosetting and provides very good long term aging characteristics. Excellent flagging and solvent resistance, well suited for applications where cleaning solvents and mineral oil are present, works well as outer wrapping on capacitors and coils. Abrasion and tear-resistant, use in transformers, shaded pole motors and fractional horsepower motors for wire harness bundling, as well as anchoring and holding applications. UL recognized, 130 deg C/266 deg F temperature rating, use as a slot cell edging tape for transformers and motors, providing reinforcement and strengthening of edges of slot insulation. Meets the flame retardancy requirements of UL 510.
