Black anti-static UHMW polyethylene tape is used to protect surfaces from abrasion, wear resistance, friction and electrical conductivity from static dissipation. Use for applications where dust and electrical charge could cause problems. Highly used in the electronics industry, as well as, industrial manufacturing processes containing combustibles where ESD can cause explosions. The anti-static UHMW tape is ideal in applications where static is a concern and lubrication is not possible because of contamination. Use in the industrial, manufacturing and distribution industries to protect against static build-up do to dust collection in chutes and conveyors. Works well to protect against electrostatic charging of powders during bulk powder conveying. Use to line dust collection hoppers to protect against static and the risk of combustion. Protects robotics as well as electronic equipment and components sensitive to dust accumulation and electrical charge buildup.
