Spunlace wipers are manufactured without the use of binders or chemical adhesives. They are constructed by high pressure water jets hydro entangling fibers into a synthetic interlace web - also referred to as spunlacing. Wood pulp fibers and a polypropylene interlace web are common components in these wipers, but other fibers and webs can be utilized. This hydro entangling process creates an incredibly strong non-woven wiper that has extremely good wet and dry strength and is compatible with chemical solvents. Blue color wipers help hide some of the grease and grime resulting in less wiper waste. Reusable wipes: their durable construction allows these wipes to be reused for multiple jobs. Pros - solvent friendly, very durable, low lint, absorbent, cloth-like feel. Cons - expensive if used as a disposable wipe, moderately soft.
